3D printing solves the problem of complex geometries in dental appliances. The application of new materials makes it possible to obtain results that are applicable today.
SLM (Selective Laser melting) 3D-Printing Technology is very interesting for metal parts and the advantages of PEEK partial dentures are numerous as well. This is a strong and lightweight material that will improve patient comfort. The denture frame is produced without metal and will be completely neutral in terms of taste.
SPORTS
From a sporting point of view, a significant increase in prostheses and parts that improve and enhance the skills or insufficiencies of both elite and general athletes is expected.
The structures of the parts can be optimized more and more, thus being able to manufacture products that are more comfortable and that fit more closely to the body.
It is a matter of time before they begin to enter the sports area with excellent results.
CONTRIBUTION IN COVID TIME
Our team developed two prototypes of AMBU type respirators to be able to industrialize a fast product that saves lives in Spain. We did not stop at the time of COVID19, every day we went to the facilities to make these prototypes viable from the medical level and fully functional. We are always grateful that they take us into account when looking for quick solutions to real problems.
